Wychavon District Council’s Kids’ Kitchen team had a brilliant day at CountryTastic, welcoming over 300 children to take part in fun, hands‑on food activities.
Throughout the event, children enjoyed making apple energy balls, learning how simple, healthy ingredients can be used to create a tasty snack. The activity encouraged children to get involved, ask questions about food, and build confidence through trying something new.
It was fantastic to see so many families engaging with the stall, with children of all ages taking part and leaving with big smiles. Events like CountryTastic provide a valuable opportunity to promote healthy eating, support family learning, and inspire positive habits from an early age.
Wychavon’s Hub Coordinator Nicola Morris said:
“Our volunteers and Kids Kitchen Staff had a great time meeting new families from around the three counties. I look forward to taking part at CountryTastic 2027.”
Thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped make the day such a success.
