We’re hiring!

Do you delight in a well-written funding bid? Do you believe in the power of a brilliant social enterprise? Are you looking for a flexible, parent/carer-friendly role that will result in happier, healthier families? Read on, my friend!

In the past three years we have more than doubled our turnover, increased our geographical reach and secured three years of core funding from the National Lottery Community Fund. We are more convinced more than ever of the strength of our model – but we know that this alone doesn’t make our organisation stable. Our future, like that of most other organisations is still precarious and our parents / carers are heading into yet more choppy waters as the cost of living crisis continues. But we have many things on our side – we’re a great team that has grown and passed batons over a full ten years and we know we reflect the needs of the people we work with – because we are the people we work with.

We have created a core team for Kids Kitchen that can support our growth as an organisation and enable us to support more fun, happier families and a better food system across the UK! This is one of three roles (all funded by the National Lottery Community Fund) which, in partnership, make sure the organisation can run smoothly.

The Development Coordinator:

  • Grows new income streams to achieve impact and sustainability
  • Identifies and applies for grants that fit with Kids Kitchen’s values and goals
  • Nurtures and supports our hub coordinators to maximise their impact locally
  • Shares the work that we do and the impact we have in places that raise our profile

The role is very flexible, 12 hours a week with a salary of £30244 pro rata (actual £9678 pa).
