We’re back at Coningsby Children’s Centre!

After a brief break last term, we are thrilled to be back at Coningsby Children’s Centre again for more fun filled cooking sessions for you and your under 5!

Starting this week, we will be there every Thursday during term time from 10am – 12pm! Join us and cook up some delicious, healthy meals with your child! If you’d like to come along, book your space here.

All our sessions are relaxed, welcoming and fully facilitated by our friendly session leader. Together, we will create an easy but delicious lunch and introduce your child to a wide range of healthy and nutritious foods. We get the children involved with every step of the food preparation – from discussing the ingredients used and where they come from, to the chopping, grating, measuring, mixing and kneading. They even help with the washing up too! At the end of the session, we all sit down and eat together as well, with plenty of opportunity for chatting and fun throughout! Of course, we all know sometimes your child will have a day when they want to do anything BUT join in, that’s totally fine and we always have other toys on hand so they can dip in and out as much as they want – no pressure! You can find out more about what happens in our sessions here.

Our first session of the new block is on Thursday 28th April and we will be making a yummy tomato and basil risotto – book your space here.

We do have some free spaces available via referral from Leominster Food Bank or Health Visitors. Email Kate at hshire@kidskitchen.org.uk for more information. The sessions in this summer block have been subsidised by the fantastic funders at EF Bulmer Trust and we are very grateful for their support.
