Appetite at the Art Trail 2015Appetite is a food festival run in the London borough Waltham Forest. As part of Appitite we hosted an event bring families together to cook and enjoy a wonderful three course banquet of Summer rolls, Wellington with roast potatoes and blackberry and apple crumble. Vegetable were provided by local growing project Organic Lea, venue The Peters House Centre
Round Chapel Old School RoomsFunded by Hackney Council's Community Chest Fund we invited neighbours, local community groups and centre users to come together to cook and eat a 3 course feast. The highlight was the vegan banoffee pie!
E4 Feast with Vegan SocietyPart funded by the Vegan Society and Cultivate Festival, E4 Feast was a family feast bringing together 15 families to cook a 3 course meal at the newly reopened learning centre in Pimp Hall nature reserve. While we were waiting for our feast to cook we took a tour of the nature reserve and picked wild flowers to decorate our table before scoffing the spoils of our labour.
