Session Leader and Hub Support - Herefordshire

Are you based in Leominster? Do you already work with children or do you feel passionate about cooking with families? Come work with us! It's fun and inspiring.

We have been cooking with families in Herefordshire for a couple of years, face to face and online. Our work in this area is linked to our other hubs and the team supports each other.

We are looking for a new freelance team member who will support sessions with Leominster families - both online and in groups when we are able.

Supporting sessions involves planning and delivering interactive food activities with under 5s and their adults, making contact with partner organisations who help us reach a range of families, and recording and reporting what has been done, and the impact.

You will be part of CPD accredited training and work with a flexible team.

We are particularly interested to hear from you if you haved lived experience of isolation / mental ill health when caring for a young child, as we have secured some funding to support ourselves as a team in this area. So - don't let lack of confidence put you off!

The work will be irregular at first - our coordinator will be taking a step back for a few months and we know that we need to cover this, but as the situation with face-to-face sessions is so unclear right now, it's hard to say how many hours we will be planning. We are currently planning for around 5 hrs a week, delivered very flexibly, between end of February and June.

Find out more about us from our recent Annual Report here.
