Sometimes you just need something to look forward to... We hope that's how the families that join us feel about our sessions. We'll get lunch on the table and exchange some idea with you all. It's all very relaxed and no-pressure. There is enough pressure as it is! Next Tuesday - Kate and Annie from Herefordshire will make a summery pasta salad and some refreshing lemonade to go with it. This one does not even require for you to be in the kitchen (if you pre-cook the pasta), you could set up in the garden if your internet connection allows... Book here (Bookings will close at 10.15am Tuesday, and after that you'll receive an email with a 'zoom' link to join. Room opens 10.45am, session starts 11am) What you might find useful:
For the Pasta:
Any veg you can eat raw (carrots, courgette, tomatoes, peppers, etc.)
Beans (cannellini, borlotti, or other protein you have kicking about)
Fresh Herbs (oregano and basil are great for this)
Pasta (pre-cooked, I like to precook mine just before and then run it under cold water but you can do it at any point, just remember to mix a little oil through so it doesn't stick)
Tomato paste (optional)
For the Lemonade:
Water (still or sparkly)
A short note about ingredients: we try to use local and seasonal produce and tweak recipes accordingly. Tweaking is also necessary at the moment now that we can only leave home for essentials. For this reason we've given you loads of options, please don't be daunted by them! We will also help with substitutions on the day.
