Ever made too much mash potato? I certainly have and I must confessed it has ended up in the bin a few times.
But not anymore! With Aneta's fantastic recipe you can use up your leftovers (a quick google search suggests mash can last 3-5 days in the fridge) for a wonderful lunch treat.
Likewise if you haven't had mash in the last few days then just boil some potatoes beforehand and get you little one to mash it up, they'll love it!
(Bookings will close at 10.15am Tuesday, and after that you'll receive an email with a 'zoom' link to join. Room opens 10.45am, session starts 11am) What you might find useful:
Floury potatoes (or leftover mash)
Potatoes Flour (or regular flour)
salt, pepper and nutmeg
Vegetables (courgette, mushrooms, peppers are in the original recipe but you can use what you have in the fridge)
Onion (or spring onion, or leek)
Salt & pepper
Spices (paprika, cumin... whatever you like)
Salad veg for a side salad
A short note about ingredients: we try to use local and seasonal produce and tweak recipes accordingly. Tweaking is also something we got used to when we were only allowed to leave home for essentials and we have fully embraced it, it helps with avoiding food waste which is great. For this reason we've given you loads of options, please don't be daunted by them! We will also help with substitutions on the day.
Our online weekday sessions are free but if you are able to support our work, we rely on donations for much of what we do. Thank you! 😍😃💕
