"All of it it was a new experience for my son and he really loved it"
We love to help you discover new things so if you have never baked your own focaccia then you should definitely join us (and even if you have tried I'm sure our way will be a bit different and will involve more hands on work from your little one).
So... Focaccia coming at'cha! Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Aneta our South East London session leader will talk us through this recipe with the help of Kelda joining us from Brighton.
(Bookings will close at 10.15am Tuesday, and after that you'll receive an email with a 'zoom' link to join. Room opens 10.45am, session starts 11am) What you might find useful:
Small jar with a tight lid
Flour (any you have handy, we'll probably use all purpose but bread flour would also work)
Yeast (fresh or instant or whatever you have, we can have a chat about yeast on the day!)
Extra virgin olive oil (other oil would work too but this is more traditional)
Toppings: coarse salt and fresh rosemary, thyme, basil, olives, tomatoes, pepper, red onion, the possibilities are endless
A short note about ingredients: we try to use local and seasonal produce and tweak recipes accordingly. Tweaking is also something we got used to when we were only leave home for essentials and we have fully embraced it, it helps with avoiding food waste which is great. For this reason we've given you loads of options, please don't be daunted by them! We will also help with substitutions on the day.
Our Crowdfunder is finished and we raised just under £2,500! Thank you all so so much for your support. If you missed the cut off and would like to support our work, you can do so via the link below! 😍😃💕
