On the 6th of June at 11am, the Kids Kitchen team will be taking to Facebook for a live cooking session. Step-by-step, we'll take you along the journey of crafting some glorious cous-cous volcanoes. It's a fab recipe with lots of opportunities for the kids to take the reigns and get in touch with their inner chefs.
The kids will be...Chopping, Grating, Mixing, Shaking
This is one of our easiest recipes, with plenty of choice for what to chop, tear, cut and grate - and no cooking!
Kids love jobs they can do unaided, so cutting a vegetable into strips which they can then chop up into smaller chunks by themselves is a good way of achieving this!
For the couscous:
1 500g packet of plain couscous
A selection of raw vegetables of your choice:(carrots, courgettes, yellow/green/red peppers, green beans, pitted black olives, cucumber, tomatoes, spring onions and spinach all work well!)
A handful of fresh mint
For the dressing:

Pretty straightforward, right? Plus, our knowledgeable session leaders will take you through the recipe on the day so that we can all craft our volcanoes together.
