Our Partners
Since Kids Kitchen began in 2011 we are lucky to have worked with some amazing partner organisations and funders. We are a small dedicated team and a network of freelancers without a central office, so we are able to be extremely flexible and highly financially efficient. This means we have unique relationships with the organisations we deliver alongside or on behalf of and grant funders get a great deal from working with us, often with the expertise of more than one organisation on each project. We are so grateful to all our funders who have recognised this and the impact of the work we do.

During the pandemic
As with so many of us, at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic we had to stop all of our usual sessions and activities. After the initial shock, we rallied together to work out how to continue to support families during this difficult time. As well as launching our Online hub and virtual playgroup, we collaborated with partners to keep families cooking together as much as we could.
This included:
- An online community festival involving 80 families for resident-led Phoenix Housing Association (South London)
- A vibrant session for Black History Month with Walthamstow Toy Library and an outdoor autumnal family session on Aldriche Way Estate (East London)
- Recipes and advice for specific ingredients, plus ingredient bags for families with Leominster Food Bank (Herefordshire)
