New session leaders, new hubs

Kids Kitchen Wychavon

Whether it’s joining an existing hub or starting a new hub in your area, our online training has helped many people join the Kids Kitchen community.

Klaire and Sarah are our newest trainees who have started hubs in new areas. Klaire is running monthly sessions at Wychbold Village Hall in Wychavon and Sarah is running sessions in Cheltenham.

Sarah had previously attended sessions when she lived in London and is passionate about sustainability. She has two children and loves to cook with them. She joined the training as she wanted to start sessions in her hometown of Cheltenham. “I really enjoyed the training. I found it fun, thought provoking and practical. It supported the skills and confidence needed to bring sessions to my own area.” She continued “with two small children, I also appreciated being able to do the training in small chunks at times that fitted around my family”.

Klaire, has older children but loves cooking and took part of the training as part of our partnership with Wychavon council. She said “The training was really helpful for me, it helped me learn how to plan my sessions and make sure I get the timings correct. It was informative and easy to navigate too”.
