New Kids Kitchen Sessions In Cheltenham

Kids making a sustainable, plant-based meal of Hummus Rainbow Wraps at a Kids Kitchen family cooking session

We are so excited to announce that we’re now running Kids Kitchen sessions in Cheltenham, beginning with a series of sessions at the School House Cafe. The sessions will be run by our new session leader Sarah who recently completed the Kids Kitchen community training. She can’t wait to start Kids Kitchen sessions in the area and bring something new to the community.

The sessions are not only a brilliant way of keeping your little ones entertained, and a way to get them excited about veg, but are also a great place for parents to make friends and meet others in the community. We will have toys and books available too and children can dip in and out of the cooking as much as they want.  Our relaxed and informal sessions are a brilliant way of spending quality time with your kids; having fun together whilst learning some key life skills (without all the mess at home!).

Sarah loves to cook and is passionate about sustainability. “I have two young kids and love to cook with them.  When I came across Kids Kitchen I knew it was something I would love to start in my area. I can’t wait for the first session on August 19th when we’ll be making hummus rainbow wraps together to eat for lunch”.

From the grating, mixing, kneading, snipping and chopping to the table wiping, sweeping and washing up – everyone works together to make a delicious lunch.  Sessions are £5 per child (20% sibling discount available) and open to all children 0-5 as well as their older siblings over the summer holidays. We also have some free spaces available, just use the code ‘FREECHELT’ when booking. Any questions please email Sarah on cheltenham@kidskitchen.org.uk
