National Trust sessions: a success!

This year, we’ve been lucky enough to be invited to run four sessions by The National Trust. Namely, two at Croft Castle, one at Berrington Hall and one at Brockhampton Estate and Gardens. We ran one at Croft Castle in the summer holidays with Nicola and Lizzie from Wychavon where we made rainbow wraps and hummus. John, the gardener at Croft, also gave us plums to give out which were fresh from the tree and just delicious! The apple picking days in October were also a hit. The recipes for these sessions all included apples from the estate, some freshly juiced. Yum!

Over 150 small people cooked with us, learnt something new, used tools they might not have before and took something tasty and healthy away with them to munch on. Adults also learnt about seasonal veg and how to make the most of the produce this time of year.

Thank you, National Trust. It was a pleasure.
