Kitchen Online: 23rd of June Cabbage Cutlets

“Hiya, really enjoyed the rainbow wraps session today – thank you so much. Luka has been a bit touch and go with hummus but of course making his own did the trick – have never seen him pack so much of it away. The online session format I think, has been a real success for us… He just loves a screen – and whether it is watching Hey Duggee or doing a cook-along doesn’t seem to make much difference!  :D”

Screen time you don’t feel guilty about! Not that you should ever feel guilty about anything, we all doing what we can in this difficult situation. But if your child loves a screen Kids Kitchen could be a nice change from CBeebies. And hopefully they will be encouraged to try something new.

Next Tuesday – Aneta the co-ordinator for our South East London Hub will talk us through this wonderful recipe with the help of Carmen from the East London Hub.Book here (Bookings will close at 10.15am Tuesday, and after that you’ll receive an email with a ‘zoom’ link to join. A short note about ingredients: we try to use local and seasonal produce and tweak recipes accordingly. Tweaking is also necessary at the moment now that we can only leave home for essentials. For this reason we’ve given you loads of options, please don’t be daunted by them! We will also help with substitutions on the day.

Update: our Crowdfunder is finished and we raised just under £2,500! Thankyou all so so much for your support. If you missed the cut off and would like to support our work, you can do so via the link below! ????????????
