And I ate their leftovers so that saves me making my own lunch!”At Kids Kitchen Collective we are trying to do our bit to relieve some of the pressure of parenting in lockdown.Join us. Camera on or off, with creative inspiration or a foggy head, with kids at the table or climbing on your head. We’ve all got to make lunch, we may as well have some company while we do it. Next Tuesday – Aneta, our coordinator from SouthEast London and chef extraordinaire together with Kate from the Herefordshire Hub and her adorable brood will make PASTA from scratch! 11 until noon.Book here (Bookings will close at 10.15am Tuesday, and after that you’ll receive an email with a ‘zoom’ link to join. Room opens 10.45am, session starts 11am)You don’t need anything special to take part. You don’t even need to be in the kitchen! Find a space on a table, in a corner, on a picnic blanket…What you might find useful:

Spinach (or other green leafy veg. Do you have any nettles growing near you?…)For the sauce:Veggies (any you have in hand)

Onion (or spring onions or just garlic)

Tomato Passata (or chopped tom fresh or tinned)A short note about ingredients: we try to use local and seasonal produce and tweak recipes accordingly. Tweaking is also necessary at the moment now that we can only leave home for essentials. For this reason we’ve given you loads of options, please don’t be daunted by them! We will also help with substitutions on the day.
