We have some ambitious plans for the future of Kids Kitchen. A grant from the National Lottery Community Fund means we’ve developed a new five year strategy and as we begin to put it into practice we feel it’s time to add one or two new volunteer directors to our current board. Kids Kitchen is run day to day by our coordinators. Directors provide oversight and make sure the organisation sticks to its strategy and values.
You will be joining founders Rebecca and Eva as well as Aneta (one of the longest serving Hub Coordinators and one of the very first attendees at our sessions). You can read all about them in our Team page.
We would particularly like to hear from people who have experience of growing an organisation from a small enterprise into a larger organisation, employing several staff and expanding nationally without losing its heart.
Here is the Role Description. Please note this is a volunteer position and we expect directors to be able to contribute around three hours each month
