Kids Kitchen at London Family Fund Celebration

Over the whole of this year Kids Kitchen was able to reach many people in the East London area thanks to the funding received from the Mayor Of London under the Family Fund Grants Scheme. Many families that attended our sessions made new friends in their area, improved their confidence and spent good quality time with their loved ones.

This past Monday, the 11th of November, Kids Kitchen had the pleasure to be one of the many companies that work with families and their children to be invited to take part in the London Family Fund Celebration Event. The event took place in the morning at London’s Living Room – City Hall, London, and it was a chance to celebrate the projects funded so far and welcome the second cohort of grantees.

The event was open by Dr. Debbie Weekes- Bernard, Deputy Mayor for Social Integration, Social Mobility, and Community Engagement who put much emphasis on why this fund forms such an important part of the work of City Hall. She took the chance to show her appreciation to all organizations that are making an impact on the life of parents and young children through their activity and their involvement.

We are looking forward to being able to do more in the future for all communities around us.

A big thanks from everyone at Kids Kitchen to all of you that keep supporting us helping us grow every day.
