East London – Goodbye 2021, Hello New Year!

We had our last session of the year today at Paradox, cooking with families alongside Musical Beacons.

This year in East London we have cooked with so many families of toddlers and older children, we have taken part in community events, we have delivered ingredients bags door to door. When we could meet up we had great outdoor sessions.

So thank you all who cooked with us this year, I hope you enjoyed yourselves and learned something too! If you have, please take 5 mins to let us know.

We have some great plans for next year. We have more sessions already booked at Paradox, a new venue in Leytonstone, more ingredients bags and hopefully more regular sessions in our partner venues. In order to accomplish those plans we need to be able to show potential funders just how wonderful you all think we are ; )

We all know how little time us busy parents have but I promise you I’m asking for no more than 5 mins of your time. Or if it’s easier just drop me a line, a pic of your kids hands getting stuck in some dough, a quick voice recording of what our sessions has done for you. Whatever is easiest. Email me, Alice: elondon@kidskitchen.org

I would also like the opportunity to thank some of our partners this year here in East London. Waltham Forest Council, The Walthamstow Toy Library, Lloyds Park Children Charity, Paradox Community Centre, Build Up, Soundcastle, Priory Court Community Centre, William Morris Big Local, The Hornbeam, Walk the Loop. What an amazing group of like-minded organisations! See more about our partners here

Have a wonderful, restful, beautiful holiday season and we are looking forward to seeing you in January, keep an eye on our website for sessions coming up in East London.
