We have been very busy in East London delivering our Recipe Club project which we are all so excited about. It’s something a bit different from our usual sessions but it has been fantastic so far. (Read more about it HERE)
Summer is around the corner with the hope of many more session and projects. But we will have to say goodbye and good luck to Carmen, one of our great session leaders.
This is what she has to say about her time at Kids Kitchen: “Kids Kitchen offered me the opportunity to spend quality time with my daughter as she was growing up, and this is priceless. I also met some amazing women and felt like I am doing a great thing for young children and their families. I hope to be able to continue to do my part in spreading the Kids Kitchen values, even remotely”.
So… we need to welcome someone new to the family! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be running one of our sessions? Are you around this summer to get stuck in?
Both Carmen and Alice started by coming to the sessions with their (then) under 5s and decided to take the plunge and become session leaders. Can YOU be next?
We have more sessions coming up in the summer months in Waltham Forest. We will also need help with the ongoing Recipe Club project.
HERE is more info on the role and how to apply.
