Would you like Kids Kitchen sessions to happen near you? Keen to get your nursery colleagues, or local community space doing great cooking with kids?
We have been cooking with kids for eight years, and in that time have supported many people to start family cooking sessions. Almost all of our session leaders were new to doing group activities when they started coming to sessions, or started our training.
We're now set up to share our admin tips, and make sure you know all the things we DIDN'T know when we started out. Insurance, getting the word out about your group, what to buy, who can help - are all things we can help take care of.
Community Membership includes:
Accredited training in Cooking from Scratch with Kids; ; with support throughout from a friendly network
A welcome pack with step-by-step instructions for set-up.
Access to other resources that fit your needs - that might be recipe ideas, session plans, example funding applications, templates to evaluate sessions... what would help YOU?
Insurance for your Kids Kitchen session.
An online meet-up with other community members and Kids Kitchen session leaders
Web hosting of your event and group details so that people know about you.
Additional support and resources are available in addition to the initial community membership, including session resources and coached sessions.
What we ask from you:
Commitment to the accredited training before setting up sessions.
Agreement that you will use our name and logo only to publicise Kids Kitchen sessions.
Agreement that all the sessions you make happen will be in line with Kids Kitchen values.
That you are contactable through Kids Kitchen so that others can be involved in what you do.
That you show you are following all necessary guidelines to make sessions safe.
Membership for year one currently costs £150. This includes access to the accredited training for up to two people. Subsequent years' membership is £50.

"Being part of this has been amazing for me & my family: it's a resource for education, work & leisure. After training I could find a venue and set up a local session with others.”
"I've been able to set up my own sessions here in Glasgow - some with young families, but also after-school clubs. It has helped to have the support of an organisation behind me."
"If it wasn’t for the online sessions I would never have been able to complete the training, so that was amazing."
