East London: What would YOU cook?

We are delighted! Kids Kitchen East London has secured money from the Mayor’s Family Fund to create some fun cooking spaces with adults and kids in East London.

When we saw that the London Family Fund wanted to “improve social networks, reduce isolation and bring children and families together” – we were pretty excited about the good fit, and obviously they were too!So – please look out in 2019 for some family cooking fun appearing in both Walthamstow and Chingford, and other sessions popping-up elsewhere in Waltham Forest and beyond. If you have a dish you love to cook – bring your ideas and maybe we will plan a toddler cooking session together with your recipe! You can keep in touch through our mailing list – and through Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to find out when the sessions will be happening. Please tell us if you have a toddler group, family session or similar in Waltham Forest that works with a specific group of people who might be up for some simple friendly toddler cooking. And we might be able to pop-up in your place! We are also looking for:

  • Session leaders to bring vibrancy and fun to both adults and kids in our sessions
  • Volunteers to support every part of what we do
  • A part-time coordinator for our East London hub

Come and get involved with us! It’s fun, chaotic and inspiring – we really do create an impressively tasty meal, harnessing the raw power of our under-5s!
